With our variety of skillfully prepared pizza crusts and dough balls we have eliminated the need for special training and dough making equipment at the end user level. Baker’s Quality offers a full range of sizes in a Fresh (Sheeted) Crust, a Par-Baked Crust, a Self-Rising Crust, Raised Edge and Die Cut Pressed Crusts as well as Dough Balls. All are shipped frozen. Baker’s Quality is also capable of customizing products to your specifications or helping you to develop a recipe that meets your needs.
Baker’s Quality Pizza Crusts®, Inc. became an independent operation in 1997 but has its roots in a business that began in the early 1970’s. That business operated as a central commissary for a group of franchised pizza restaurants. Even then it was more economical to produce pizza crusts at one location than it was to install the equipment necessary in each restaurant. Also, the consistency of the product could be controlled and labor costs reduced. Over time, crusts were sold to other restaurants that preferred to purchase ready made crusts than to make their own and a loyal following developed. Today our products are sold through a growing network of distributors and are used in restaurants, schools, convenience stores, grocery store delis, seasonal concessions, frozen pizza manufacturers and a variety of other applications, primarily in the Midwestern states.
Our commitment to food safety and quality products remains steadfast. We follow HACCP procedures and are annually audited by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) to ensure that we are following those food safety procedures properly. We carefully manage our growth so that we can continue manual operations at the points of production that ensure an end product that is of the highest quality. Your customer will assume that the crust was made in your kitchen and you can be assured that our crusts are produced with the consumer’s safety in mind.
